  • To Locate Articles in Business Periodicals, Use the Following Indexes:
    • ABI-INFORM
      • Online Database available via the Rider University Libraries' home page/FIND ARTICLES
      • This database includes a wide variety of business journals that cover "business conditions, trends, corporate strategies and tactics, management techniques, competitive and product information" and many other topics.  You can search some 1,300 journals for citations and abstracts.  Full text is available online for approximately half of these journals.  A list of the subjects used in the database is available at the reference desk in Moore Library.

      • Factiva is the new version of Dow Jones Interactive.  It contains the full text of all Dow Jones publications and 8,000 other publications, 20,000 company reports, and selected business web sites.  In addition, it contains the full text of Rueters Business Briefings which include global business news as well as foreign language publications.  Please note: If you receive the message from Factiva, "the user name and password you have entered are already in use ...", or are prompted for a user name and password, please wait a few minutes and try again.  The message indicates that all available passwords are in use.  Factiva supports Internet Explorer 5.01 and above, and supports but does not recommend Netscape Navigator 6.01 and above.

        Full-text articles from five additional periodical databases are also included when available: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Art Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and Library Literature & Information Science Full Text.
