Academic or Scholarly Articles Subject Indexes
- The "...Buros Institute of Mental Measuremets has supported advancements in testing practice since 1938 by publishing candidly critical reviews designed to support the informed selection of commercially available tests." The Buros website provides an index to the test reviews published in the Mental Measurements Yearbooks. Moore Library has a complete set of the Mental Measurements Yearbooks located in the Reference area.
- "Education Full Text is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals and yearbooks published in the United States and elsewhere. English-language books relating to education published in 1995 or later are also indexed. Abstracting coverage begins with January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source documents. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996." This database is available to students, faculty, and staff from all of Rider University.
- "ERIC, the U.S. Department of Education's Educatinal Resource Information Center database, contains citations and abstrcts from over 980 educational and education-related journals, as well as full text of more then 2,200 digests." PLEASE NOTE: The ERIC Digests and documents may not be complete full text online. They may be labled, "best part". Moore Library has a complete set of full text of ERIC documents in its collections. The University Libraries are not liable for any documents that you may order through the ERIC database.
- PsycINFO (To use for human resources) A good source of research and articles on employee attitudes, motivation, productivity and workplace or occupational stress.
- "Social Sciences Full Text is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere plus the full text of selected periodicals. Coverage includes a wide range of interdisciplinary fields covered in a broad array of social sciences journals. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in January 1994. Abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles. Full text coverage begins in January 1995."

- "Academic Search Premier provides full text from nearly 3,180 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies."
- National Newspaper Index indexes articles from America's top five newspapers: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. Coverage is from 1977 to the present. All five newspapers are available in Moore Library.
- Currently, Project MUSE offers nearly 200 quality journal titles from some 30 scholarly publishers. ...Project MUSE covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others." Project MUSE includes the full content of each journal with the exception of advertisements.
- Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition provides indexes, abstracts, and full text from six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, and Wilson Business FullText. Other full-text articles from additional periodical databases are also included when available: Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Art Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and Library Literataure & Information Science Full Text.
